I only need to reflect on my previous days when I pursued my undergraduate degree in the early 90’s and compare it to my current days pursuing my masters degree in 2025. During   my undergraduate career, I sat in lecture halls and took notes with pen and paper on a daily basis. I sat for hours along with other students as we all shuffled papers and wrote in short-hand trying to make sure we captured every important piece of information our professor spoke. I want to take a few moments to answer questions about integrating technology and todays standards with students and their accommodations. The first thing, in order to integrate technology, you have to know your student. If the have and IEP, know the accommodations and how they learn best. Hughes & Roblyer talks about the different technological tools used in the classroom such as smart boards, cell phones, and computers. I use all three in my classroom. In addition to that, you have to have some best practices you use in your classroom in order to interact with technology. One of my best practices is that each lesson must be interactive with technology. So, in order for a student to complete a lesson in my classroom, a student must interact with technology at least one time in order to complete that lesson. We learned in Reimagining Class...
